Ganesha Chathurthi

Ganesha Chathurthi was a great day for us, today we saw one of the most clearest sky o this whole month (till 19 of September), we were able to see even 3 magnitude stars on luckily no clouds!!. There were clouds    but not so much that a normal day of monsoon has (In Tumkur). I was very happy that we saw more than 2 Globular Cluster, 3 Open Cluster, Lagoon Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy after a long long time.Here are some of the long exposure pictures of the sky with our Telescope.

Moon, two days after Blue Moon.

Today we went on to the top of our school for observing and taking some pictures of M6, M7 and Lagoon Nebula  but to our bad luck suddenly clouds came in and started to rain, but after waiting for more than 30 minutes it started to clear up, and at the same time the Moon came up and added more beauty, we were not able to see Lagoon Nebula today but we managed to capture some beautiful pictures of moon and we also saw M13.

Blue Moon

This years Blue Moon was a great show for us.When we started to capture photos of it it was cloudy but after some time it started clearing up, it was so so clear that I could even see the faintest stars and I think this is one of the best skies I have ever seen in the city of Tumkur and we also managed to capture ISS which was passing near by.
